Bargains of the Day

Romantic Comedy–this one sounds really great and they used the word “eclair!” It must be a great read!

Size Matters

Sam sometime speaks before he thinks. So what started out as defending Leah’s date-ability to her judgmental mother soon turned into having a fiancee! Now the plan is to keep up the fake engagement, stay “just friends,” and make Leah’s family loathe him enough to just call the whole thing off . But Sam has an insatiable sweet tooth, not only for Leah’s decadent desserts but her decadent curves. Her full lips. Her bright green eyes. Yep, things aren’t going quite according to plan. Now Sam has to convince Leah that he’s for real . . . before their little lie turns into one big, sweet disaster.

Looks like the books are all about deception today…

The Art of Deception is another bargain — intriguing!

Niko Hrabanic was once a famous swordsman. But after a scandal-laden departure from his last job at a royal court, he’s now hiding out in a rural inn, making himself useful to his attractive landlady in all sorts of ways that don’t actually involve paying rent…

…until a summons from the mysterious and dangerous White Library shakes up his life all over again. His landlady, it turns out, has secrets of her own. Now Hrabanic and Julia will have to confront both of their pasts – and if they’re going to have any hope of survival, they’ll need both Hrabanic’s sword arm and Julia’s magical training.

It’s time for them to become experts at the art of deception.

Best of 2016: Julie Moffett Pick

Y’all know I like Julie Moffett’s books. Well, there’s some good news on that front. BUT FIRST, Julie has submitted her favorite read of 2016!

She has chosen Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief! If I’m not mistaken, that is one of April the Dragon’s favorites as well.

The books have also been made into a movie.

Now then, on to Julie’s latest release. I’m excited about this one–travel and to one of my favorite book locales!

Julie’s NINTH book in the Lexi series is No Living Soul. I was thrilled to see that Lexi was off to Egypt. I bet Julie had loads of fun doing the research for this book!

(The first in the series is No One Lives Twice. Fun and funny. It’s on my list of Great Books Under Five.)

If you click the tag in the lower right on this post (Best of 2016) you can see the other picks. I still have at least one more to post!
