We are Warriors

I find this article hilarious. For years, just because the grave contained weapons, it was assumed the warrior within was male. Hahaha. Well, she wasn’t.

  1. I’ve been saying for years that you shouldn’t lump all women in the same helpless category assigned to them by men in centuries past. Who ran the castles, tended the farms, cared for the animals, when men were off fighting? Women, that’s who.

    I say again

  2. The saddest part of that article is how when they discovered the skeleton was that of a woman–immediately several “experts” decided it had to be a mistake, a mix-up, the wrong bones…anything other than accepting that she was a woman warrior, probably the strategist and the leader, and definitely highly respected. No doubt, some of those same experts still can’t accept the truth.

  3. How quickly they forget that some of the fiercest warriors were the Amazons — all women.
