Terry Goodkind: Stone of Tears (I’ve read one Terry Goodkind. Pretty typical epic fantasy. Was a decent read, but epic fantasy does tend to run on the long side.)

Just an FYI, the Terry Goodkind book is the 2nd in a long series, the first is not free.

I wondered that. I can’t remember if I read the first in this series or some other. I do skip the first in some series (usually be accident). Given what I know of his writing, it would probably be okay to skip. Each book is a huge story in and of itself. Or get the first at the library. I didn’t enjoy the book I read by him so much that I’d be tempted to spend money.
