Dragon Calendars

It’s that time folks. Time to find a new calendar!!! I was looking around for a new dragon for DragonKin when I stumbled across this fabulous dragon 2018 calendar by Stanley Morrison. Well, there’s two different ones, really. Check them out.

Very cool. And it’s possible that I’ve picked one of the dragons from one of the calendars to grace the cover of DragonKin next year!

I always suspected that cats were part dragon:

Some other great cats with wings on his site.

I don’t think this dragon is part of the calendar set (more’s the pity. What a great dragon). Love the coffee and tea versions. Just some great dragons!

  2. Those dragons are adorable! I think my favorite is the tea dragon (with the butterfly wing tail) and the coconut dragon (mostly because the color seem right).

  3. Oh, I totally love the tea dragon! That is just wonderful! I don’t think it’s part of the calendars though. Definitely my favorite.

  4. Those are great! Love dragons! Love the tea dragon, too. You’re redoing “DragonKin”?

  5. Not the whole cover, I don’t think. But the purple dragon doesn’t show up on the cover. I need one that pops, fits the story AND has the right personality!

  6. Oh, new favorite. You’re right that coconut one is awesome!

  7. Oooh. I like that one a lot, too! You’re going to have a hard time deciding, Maria.

    Comment by Dee/dragons3 — December 28, 2017 @ 2:13 pm

  8. Not really. :>) With a green background, my choices are actually pretty limited. I have to have something with high contrast so none of those “favorites” are even in the running!

  9. The strawberry and blackberry dragons are both good.

    Comment by Margaret Lake — December 28, 2017 @ 3:03 pm

  12. Oh MY HEAVENS! They are ADORABLE! Does he make a little dragon that I can add to my my fairy gardens?

    Comment by Heather — December 30, 2017 @ 3:55 pm

  13. I love the cute Strawberry dragon. Such a cute face! Does he make a wallet size calendar?

    Comment by Heather — December 30, 2017 @ 4:02 pm

  14. I don’t know, Heather! I saw some tote bags and iphone cases and these cute little zippered pouches:

There’s even beach towels and shower curtains. I don’t see any little garden gnomes/dragon statues. Let me look around some more!

  15. Love the fireball dragon because of his eyes
The eyes are the first thing I look at in a picture. It conveys the whole atmosphere of the story.

    Comment by Heather — December 30, 2017 @ 4:16 pm

  16. Heather, that fireball dragon looks a bit devilish, doesn’t it! Kind of mischievous. I do think the artist captured a unique look there. Very talented guy!

  17. Lord save me, he’s got tote bags! I’m doomed for sure. There’s the tea dragon and the onion dragon, the one with the guitar (but that’s for my GD) and heavens, did you see the peach dragon?

    Comment by Margaret Lake — December 30, 2017 @ 6:54 pm

  18. Did you see the shower curtains??? Okay, way out of my price range, but how cool are they? And beach towels!

    Comment by Maria — December 30, 2017 @ 7:07 pm

  19. I love those round beach towels. And how cool would it be to have a towering dragon greeting you during a middle of the night bathroom run?

    Comment by Margaret Lake — December 30, 2017 @ 10:03 pm

  20. GAH!

    Comment by Maria — December 31, 2017 @ 8:51 am

  21. I think I’ll get the guitar dragon for GD. I can use it as a gift bag for her birthday since she plays the guitar.

    Comment by Margaret Lake — December 31, 2017 @ 9:58 am

  22. That is a very, very cool dragon. I noticed it because Husband play guitar. The coolness factor on that one is +100.

    Comment by Maria — December 31, 2017 @ 10:15 am

  23. Okay. I have found my favorite. There is no better one out there:

I don’t know how you can choose.

I will have a calendar for 2019 that will have tea and coffee around May, it will also include the coconut. Plus a few other variations. I do have figurines coming out next year. I plan a few more music dragons.

  26. Stanley! Welcome to the blog (and thanks for bringing all your dragon friends!) So pleased to see you here.

Margaret, did you see the little mouse in that one you linked to??? I hadn’t seen that. How cute is that????

    Comment by Maria — December 31, 2017 @ 12:23 pm

  27. Yes, I saw the mouse. And the expressions on the catabats faces were priceless.

  29. Heather, would this “day calendar” feature different dragons or just one dragon on the cover? What do you think?

Inquiring minds want to know! 🙂

    Comment by Maria — January 6, 2018 @ 3:03 pm

  30. Heather, I can post a 5.5×7 Calendar on one of my sites. Let me know if this is small enough. Garden Dragons?

    Comment by Stanley Morrison — January 6, 2018 @ 3:17 pm

  31. Love your dragons. The garden ones are my favorite. Especially the strawberry one. I think 5.5 by 5 by 7 would work for me. You can have Maria Schneider give you my email and we can get started. Thank you ever so much.

  35. I got my guitar Dragon bag today. Wow! It’s huge with nice long straps and very sturdy material. GD will love it. The only thing is I’ll have to find more stuff to fill it. Thank you, Stanley Morrison.
