Not to be Forgotten
What with getting Under Witch Moon out, I have neglected posting about Junior and Scamp. Now, don’t think that means *they* have been neglected! Nay, they get more than enough attention. Both are enjoying the fall weather. They spent an inordinate amount of time chasing things; each other, geckos, bugs, non-moving pieces of mulch (Junior) and jumping in the pine shavings that I’m setting out for the new garden spot.
I’ve been busy starting seedlings–the beans are up! Yay! I love beans (snap and snow peas). I had only a few handfuls last year so this year I’m going to try them in pots so that I can bring them inside on the coldest nights. We’ll see. I’ve been told they don’t do well in pots, but they can’t do worse than they did last year…well, unless they die outright and several of the plants did do that last year!
Here are the kitties now:
Do not be fooled by those innocent faces! They are guilty of many crimes, including not doing chores! Usually Scamp takes the high road and bats away at Junior from above. Junior is often “inside the shelter” though he spends most of his time in there sleeping. I guess it was time to change the game up a little!

I can barely see Junior! Ref the fall weather .. maybe that’s why Noir is suddenly being so obnoxious! He can’t actually go *outside*, the screened in front porch is his limit .. which was fine all summer. He pretends to be stalking birds and squirrels. But now, even tho I leave the door open from living room to porch he STILL comes in about every 1.5 hours during the night to *yell* at me, and won’t shut up until I am up to see what’s the deal!! ACK!

The cats really do love to be out in this weather. We hardly see either of them during the day except when they fly across the yard after birds or each other. Yes, Scamper does stay out of sight–and she blends!!!

Very nice photo! Did you zoom when snapping this photo, or did Scamper actually let you get that close to her? It seems that Scamper and Junior like having photos taken and will face the camera for you. My three furbabies are just not that cooperative.

Very nice pic. I almost missed seeing Scamp…she’s such a sneak!
Tora is really loving this cooler weather, too. She goes out around midnight and doesn’t ask to come back in until around 4:00am.

Luv, of COURSE I had to zoom in! I was also INSIDE and she was OUTSIDE. Don’t think they were cooperating either. That’s called, “Watch out the humans are near. We will stop the game until they leave. We must keep an eye on them because you never know when they might want to capture and eat us for dinner…”

LOL! You are a great photographer and must have a good camera, too…I can’t believe you took that photo from inside.
Ya’ll, if you click on the photo to enlarge it, the colors are vibrant, the cats are close-up, the background is nice, and you can easily see Scamper. It’s really a great pic!

Great kitty picture! They’re both adorable.
Back when I was still living at home and we still had three cats (just one now), I managed to get a shot of all three on my bed at the same time, which was pretty rare. So very cute.
