The cats are enjoying the cooler weather. Junior can barely stand to be inside in the evenings and at night. He wakes up and his little tail twitches and he bolts for the back door without even eating. This from the kitten who was oft compared to a hoover vacuum by the vet’s office. Scamper has decided that she likes treats better than dry food and makes it a point to sit in “treat” spot frequently. She does not always get her way. Despite numerous attempts to explain to her that treat is only supposed to be twice a day, she claims an inability to count and hurries to treat spot if we even *look* at the kitchen.

Mostly the cats are content to loll about outside–or climb trees and look for those missing orange birds from a few days ago.
