Austin gets rain, but in spurts--I have a fairly large veggie garden that needs watering every day. I'm hoping the rain barrels will help with that! As for the freesias, they didn't require much care at all. I only watered them once a week. They came up early in the spring and I thought they might not bloom--they sat there being green for the longest time. Then I started noticing the stalks and here they are--all different colors!
