Say It Again, Sam
When Alex is asked to help with a company investigation, she is stunned when several old college friends show up as agents on the case. While their agent status explains past mysteries, it doesn’t help with the present confusion when Alex is expected to back the agent’s bogus contributions on spider research. The spiders aren’t the only web spinners in Medright’s labs anymore, and Alex keeps stepping on the sticky strands of evidence that point to blackmail and insider trading. The closer she gets to the facts, the more she wonders whether she is the spider or the fly and whether romance with an agent is more poisonous than the spiders in the lab. When the final bell rings, it’s dinnertime for the spiders and Alex finds herself wrapped in a cocoon designed to determine how many spider bites it takes to kill!
