Sword and Sorcery meets Agatha Christie. Three novellas introduce the Kingdom of Sage and those who protect its boundaries.
Sometimes it takes a more experienced hand to save an entire Kingdom.

The first of these stories, Toil, Trouble and Rot, was published in Coyote Wild Magazine; the other two are all new, original stories. In Dungeons and Decay find out just how far a mother will go when her child is in danger–and how much magic it takes to keep him safe. In Call to Arms, its a family affair; every hand is needed when a ghost invades the kingdom demanding old wrongs be righted.

  1. Congratulations! So this is only available via Kindle?

  2. Yup, for now it’s an exclusive. Kindle or Kindle supported products (the iPhone or iPod touch). 🙂

It’s possible that in the future it may become available in other formats, but that would likely be at least a year from now.

  3. I don’t have a kindle. I’ve never bought an ebook. I know I’m the last of a dying breed, though — I feel like the two fingered typist on the old Underwood, sneering at those new fangled computers.

At least I got to read Toil, Trouble and Rot.

Congrats — it’s just the start, I’m sure.

  4. JOHN!!!! Thanks so much for the kind words. I’m having a lot of fun with it. 🙂

I started reading ebooks…oh, maybe 5 years ago. I find myself doing it a lot more often these days. It’s finally starting to explode. A lot of ebooks are cheap too. I’m always on the lookout for a bargain.

And WHEN pray tell, is your new book coming out???? I can’t wait to read it.

  5. Do you get realtime sales statistics? There should have been at least one registered last night. 🙂

  6. I do, and there was! How did you manage that feat????

  7. Now I’m waiting impatiently for the BIG trilogy set in your wonderful magical land. And Old Granny is really named Burgundy.

  8. Old Granny!!!!! Burgundy!!!!! It’s a great pleasure to have you stop by my website. You’re the second person to ask if I was going to write these three into a novel/series. You know it never really occurred to me. I wrote them as short stories and they were really too long as short stories…and then came kindle.

I really appreciate your support. You’ve been my biggest fan–it means a lot to get positive feedback. Thank you!
